About Around
Around exists to compete with confusion. Every page should leave the internet a little more understandable than it was before you arrived.
What Around is
Around is a knowledge graph disguised as a website. Every concept, question, calculator, comparison and definition here is a node in a connected map, and every page shows you what's around it: the next question, the tool that calculates it, the term it depends on, the idea it leads to.
Every visit should help you do at least one of five things:
- Understand something.
- Calculate something.
- Compare something.
- Decide something.
- Discover the next thing worth understanding.
What Around is not
Around is not a news site, a blog, or an encyclopedia. It doesn't chase clicks, publish filler, or assume that what's trending where you are is trending everywhere. If a page doesn't help someone understand, calculate, compare, decide or discover, it doesn't get published.
How it's made
Around is built by a small team using AI assistance under strict rules: every number is computed deterministically by tested code, every factual claim traces to a named source, and nothing is published without passing quality gates. Read the full methodology — we'd rather show our working than ask for blind trust.
Contact
Around is at the very beginning. If something is wrong, unclear, or missing, that's exactly the feedback we want — see the methodology page for how corrections work.
