Every visit should help you do at least one of five things:

• Discover the next thing worth understanding.

What Around is not

Around is not a news site, a blog, or an encyclopedia. It doesn't chase clicks, publish filler, or assume that what's trending where you are is trending everywhere. If a page doesn't help someone understand, calculate, compare, decide or discover, it doesn't get published.

How it's made

Around is built by a small team using AI assistance under strict rules: every number is computed deterministically by tested code, every factual claim traces to a named source, and nothing is published without passing quality gates.
